Tourism & Hospitality es una Carrera que se dicta para alumnos de inicio que tengan un inglés básico aprobado. Sus asignaturas serán totalmente en Inglés, con el objetivo que el alumno aprenda Inglés mientras estudia Turismo, egresando como profesional bilingüe.
El egresado está facultado para diseñar, desarrollar, gestionar, comercializar y administrar los productos turísticos, basado en las normas internacionales. A bilingual professional, will be able to cover the needs of multicultural customers and to develop projects of the highest standards.

The Tourism and Hospitality Manager will be able to design, develop, operate, manage and trade tourist products and services based on international standards.
The Tourism and Hospitality Manager will have to perform within multicultural environments, communicating in multiple languages such as English, Spanish and Portuguese. His/her skills are based on hospitality and customer service dedicated to satisfying tourists’ needs and expectations while meeting high quality international standards. This professional will be able to develop new tourism and hospitality projects, taking into consideration the best sustainability practices with regards to corporate and social responsibilities according to the UNWTO Tourism Code of Ethics. DuocUC foments the development of dignified, well-rounded citizens who are well aware of their own value as individuals and committed to serving others in society. The main employers in the industry are hotels, hostels, restaurants, bed & breakfasts, cruises, convention center, tour operators, wholesalers, travel agencies, public organizations, municipalities, consultant companies, airlines, car rental services, and even entrepreneurship.

Principales características del programa de estudio y práctica profesional
- Práctica Laboral I: Consta de un mínimo de 180 horas y debe realizarse a partir del III semestre una vez finalizadas y aprobadas todas las asignaturas de I y II semestre señaladas en la malla curricular.
- Práctica Profesional: Consta de un mínimo de 360 horas. Debe realizarse a partir del VI semestre una vez finalizadas y aprobadas todas las asignaturas de I a IV semestre señaladas en la malla curricular.
